^^ look very nice Andy - did you get them powder coated yourself?

i'll be looking to get my winters (ex Neil's!) coated after this winter - my favoured choice at the moment is Graphite

Well, ordered my Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme's today - most places out of stock but phoned mytyres and they have stock of the size I need - 4 x 18" for less than £700 (with a 3% cashback via Quidco  :smug:) so pleased with that. I'll be collecting these when Neil returns from the 'ring and getting them fitted - hopefully in time for the forecast wintry weather

Now off to do some overtime to pay for these

Just had my Wintrac xtremes dropped off by courier this morning from mytyres  Took a week to deliver. Got two yesterday and two today. Just need the temp to drop off a little bit before I fit them to my seattles.

I bought the three wheels without the hub caps for £150 from ebay and they where kirbed to death, and the one with the hub cap was £100 cause it had a tyre which I flogged for £40.  The powder coating was done by Johnny at http://www.puredetail.co.uk/ he charged £150 all in.  The wheel specialist quoted me £250 so not a bad result.

Thanks.

That's a good deal and the finish is .  I used the wheel specialist when I had my Audi and tbh I was far from impressed with the quality.

Can anyone confirm if 5x112 ET50 16" Audi wheels will fit my GTI

The stud pattern and centre bore is right but not 100% sure what the offset should be. My gues is ET50 should be fine but don't want any clearance issues

Thanks.

Ken

The smaller the ET number the more they will stick out towards the arches so ET50 will be more in the arch than say ET45
