Bluetooth kit
« on: 26 September 2011, 22:29 »
Hi, i'm after a bluetooth kit to fit myself, it's for a new GTD with RCD510 fitted, i'm looking for the complete plug and play kit. Anyone who can supply please let me know.
I know i will need to code it so may buy VCDS / speak to dealer or find someone local (Stroud - Glos. )

I along with plenty of others here had forum member mortygt140 (Darren) both supply and fit the Bluetooth kit, he's a nice chap, does a great job, is reasonably priced and mobile.

Oh no

Ok are you after the factory original that work on the touch screen etc or would you go for the VW touch system?

Hello, I'm going down the same route of retrofitting VW bluetooth kit as well.

After some of my own research,I suggest you go for the 7P6 bluetooth which works with iphone.
This is what I've got for myself. I'm away to get them installed soon.

If you can't find any members selling, try eBay. Some guys bought it off this seller from Poland.

Good luck!

That kit in the link is the correct one and will work fine with the RCD-510. Like all VW kits it will just need coding to the car but otherwise it's a pretty easy install

I have a couple on order, one for my new Polo GTI and one as a spare to be sold on, so if your interested let me know.
