a freshman to the Gti club...
« on: 23 April 2005, 21:43 »
Hey everyone, have just joined the site! Want to get a little more involved with fellow Gti owners. I have a Golf Gti Mk2 1.8 8v, it's a 14yr old import with 66'500 miles on the clock and gives a beautiful drive , (mind you not so beautiful at the mo - needs a new clutch - poss gearbox) if anyone has a clutch going spare I'd be interested...

Have always been interested in Golf's and finally bit the bullet when I saw mine in the Autotrader - sold a year old car to get it and have'nt looked back since. The aim is to fully restore it to it's original condition (minus the original Pirelli P Alloys - which by the way I have 5 of if anyone is interested..?) It's not far off original condition just a few bits to do now - will get some pictures on as soon as I can.

If anyone has any advice or words of wisdom for a Gti fresher that'd be great...

Cheers
