Hi Everyone
« on: 25 September 2011, 15:33 »
Finally joined the GTI club after having to get rid of my beloved T4 after a TDI conversion went wrong.   Been wanting a GTI for as long as I can remember.  Had to weigh up my options, It was always going to be a mk2 that i would get but 8v or 16v?  Ended up going for the economic option as the job on the van had cleaned me out and I need to start paying off debts not spending loads on fuel!  Got a great car, 1991 digifant thats been well looked after and doesn't  seem to have any problems, seems quite quick for an 8v too which I'm happy with.  Will be wanting to squeeze a bit more power out of it so am gunna be looking through the forum for ideas.  If anyone has any tips in the meantime.....
Hope to get chatting with you soon
Matt
