Cheers, I know what you mean about messing with baby time. I think it's crucial for bonding. I wish I could kick her out but the missus would be very upset and at the moment her hormones are all over the place.

Sorry to hear about your mother in law, must be hard, especially with a new born.

I love my mother in law for the most part, that is until she goes all schitzo on us every 6 months or so because it upsets my wife.

My wife had a baby 2 weeks ago also, Ive had my mother in law living in my home since the start of august.....

Lost the plot at the wife today when she said "that's not how my mum told me to do it"

sister in law is also pregnant and the battle axe will be going to Ipswich on Saturday!!

Its 2 years since we had are son Reuben, As all parents will tell you its not easy, sleepless nights, getting up to feed, not knowning what they want when they are screaming, Screaming at each other, I think for the first 6 months we slept in different beds.

Take the help you can get, then tell your mother in law when you want your space

First of all, Congratulations :afro:

Secondly, Let your wife know that she is your babys mother and whist her mothers input can be valuable and insightful, she should do what you as the parents think is best  :wink:
