unfotunately a part of my work is organising road closures for RTC's and horror stories like this happen often. unfortunately dealing with public complaint about access also comes into play for our guys who are put in the same situation as this officer. tragic and puts alot into perspective.

So horrible. You think "come on you could get them out" when reading but obviously in reality it would be just as impossible.  :cry:

Very courageous. Lots of respect for the police. Lucky enough to have never come across one that has been a bit of a jobsworth. Normal guys just doing their job, and idiots that think otherwise and give them grief should be locked up.
