Bunch of pussies. I've had over 10000 injections, 99.9% of them have been self-administered. Insulin dependant diabetic since 1984...

As for the knee thing, I damaged my anterior cruciate ligament playing indoor cricket (ironically 2 days before a university rugby trial!!) and had crutches for a while and loads of physio. Never been the same since. It's strong enough but I have never played contact sports since under the specialist's advice. So no rugby for me. Boo...

iF I had to do it for health reasons i would just have to do it, just makes me cringe, all came about when i had menigitas and had the lumber puncher (6 of them in 1 night) them needles are evil

2 of my mates do HGH, they are crackers couldnt inject myself in a million years

HGH is an easy one as you shoot it from an insulin syringe which is a teeeeny needle!  I tried HGH, very expensive and did not see much gains, although I got a lot stronger.  As for the knee though.......Guy has had a really tough time with his

swimming I have found is very good.. i couldn't swim very well at all until after my operation then I forced myself to try and swim 'properly'... really enjoy it now

you can do weights too... you'll probably need to during your rehab

if the operation is a success then you shouldn't need to alter your lifestyle

I was told no swimming after my op.. as this causes lateral movement of the knee (although this was only for the first few weeks)

Usually a good idea to work on stretching after every workout as this is very important.. you will be surprised how quickly muscle deteriorates when not being used.

After my op... whilst in the hospital bed and after being heavily sedated i looked down to try see what they had done to my knee... i actually couldnt tell if i was looking at my knee or my stomach it was swollen so much
