Really? I hate cash, I avoid it as much as possible with. 99.9 percent off my transactions all being digital.

Hate carrying notes and even more so coins.

I agree 100% i dont even take cash when i got to my local pub, just run a tab till it's worth paying then pay it by card. I do live in the countryside though so no cash machine's

We take card at the fish and chip shop for any amount, it encourages people to come back rather than go else where.
Even if its a small amount, more often next time it will be a big amount. Its good business.
You would be really surprised how many people want to pay with card.

In answer to the original question, myself and my wife have a joint account. We do have our own accounts, but all the money goes in the joint.
We both have access.
My wife is studying at the moment, so i'm paying in the vast majority of the money.
She still spends my money like its her own, so when she earns money i expect to do the same.
Its what a partnership is all about.

Oop norf like, they're a bit behind the times  Give em 10-20 decades to catch up

How much do the card readers cost to run? Can't be that much if a poor mobile mechanic can run one? :undecided:
