Depends on the spec really Amanda. If you're after a GTI with leather, bi-xenons and 18s the ED35 actually comes out a few hundred cheaper. When you throw in the little extra bits of trim you get with the ED it makes it a no brainer really as its resale will probably be a lot better.

Ok Andy point taken, I forgot the ED35 comes with leather? as standard. Totally hate those wheels though (Glendale?), what is it with VW that some of their wheel styles are such sh1t lookers.

I really like the Glendale 19s, not so keen on the Watkins Glen but don't mind them
