This is the owner of the CRX on www.hondacrx.co.uk:

All started at about 4.30 pm when my best friend saw a silver crx going the opposite way to him. He was in his GT6 and stuck in traffic so couldn't really give chase but he noted that the registration plate had changed. He noted it down on his hand and came straight to my house.

We googled the Reg plate on euro car parts and it said it was a 2 liter Honda Accord so we knew it wasn't the correct plate and hopefully was mine. So updated the police on this new plate.

Later at 5.50 I got a text from another friend asking if I had got my car back, I instantly rang him and said no and he said it was driving down the dual carriage (A38) on the opposite lane to him, so he came and picked me up and we went round some rough area's in the direction he went, no luck again.

So was just about to pop out to get some food with the girlfriend then I get a call off my other best friend who is in Wales at Uni. He told me his brother was in the next local town (Kirkby) and he could see a silver crx parked up. We went over some details like wheels, and colour/trim. Was way to much of a coincidence to not go see so me and best friend 1 rushed over and met up with my friends brother. Found the car and did some casual walk by scoping to check it was mine. Had my style SII JDM light, my omp steering wheel and D1 hub, my exact wheels and brake calipers.

So I was super happy, we then went to the corner and I rang the police, I used the number the officers gave me and couldn't get through and it even stopped ringing saying they would call me later, no good. So I decided maybe 999 would send a car over to help me retrieve the car. They then got super angry at me for wasting time about it being a emergency number and didn't do anything. So I tried the local branch number and eventually got through. All she said was to drive the car home and 'try' not to touch anything much for forensics. So I pop over the road and opened the door with my key. Get in and notice its a mess  So go to start the car and the ignition barrel has been modified so you dont need to put a key in, just twist it with any key and it will start. Anyway got it started and drove home, its had about 400 miles put on it and has no petrol in

Got home and called the police again to say its home, all they say is they will get forensics to call me back later.

So I get my latex gloves on and give the car a look over, cd player had gone  sub and amp have gone too  And my JDM car mats
And my peas in a pod necklace that hangs on my mirror that my gf gave me

I also find the thief's high visibility jacket, loads of gloves, a key, a ignition barrel, some fanta drinks and most importantly his phone. So thought I should check it incase he locks the sim, latex gloves are on so I go through his messages and he appears to be a low time drug dealer, found a porn video (Milf and fendom) and some pictures of a kid, I then write down his contacts like house phone etc.

So took the wheel of this time, locked it up and blocked it in with my Mum and Dads cars and stuck a car cover on it.

Strangely the car has been cleaned, and the exhaust has been polished really well but is hanging funny at the rear. Broke my sunroof too  and removed my sticker and air fresheners.

Hopefully the forensics team will hurry up and come round and the thief won't bother my house/family/cars. Can see him coming round to smash something though out of spite.
