We own golfs but how many play the sport?

I have been playing golf for a couple of years, only started taking it seriously recently! I'm going round in about a 100-110! Bought me a new set of

Playing tomorrow night after work, buzzin to get back on the course and chase my ball around!!

I started playing 2 years ago but because of personall issues I had in my life it only lasted about 3 months but I really love it, it's the only sport I can stomach. At the moment I've got a nice set of clubs just gathering dust in my garage but I must try and get back to it ASAP because since I moved to south coast I discovered there's about 15 golf courses within 20 minutes drive so I have no excuses...

second most boring sport ever (cricket is first) its not even a sport, pointless, golf courses would make good dirt bike tracks though  :cool:

who is it on here that has the sig, golf ruins a good walk?

Please don't describe it as a 'sport'.

its not really a sport is it???

I started a few years back, and kind of drifted in and out of spending time on the driving range and a 9 holes every now and then. I dont take it seriously (as in i dont count how many shots it takes me to get around).. but i enjoy the walking element  :cool:

Used to play regularly up until I went to uni.  Got my handicap down to 9

Played a few times since; last time I played was on the 2010 Ryder Cup course  :smug: :smug:

The way I look at it that if would to run a length of a footbal pitch I would have a heart attack, whilst playing golf I can have a fag and drink a pint, win win for me :D
