is it worth considering the SMF route? ECP do a VALEO kit.

I've heard it makes the car noisy on idle?

Goodbye teeth and ear drums!!

I was chatting to Nick @ Carbon yesterday and he's spotted a race DMF in the Sachs catalogue.  Instead of being fitted with rubber its fitted with springs.  Might be worth investigating that although don't expect it to be cheap..........

i'm guessing that to get best results it's start from a clean sheet of paper
as in nice flat flywheel and nice new clutch kit.

i plan on keeping car a while so want it right but with 6 week old baby spend is tight.

going to need tyres soon too.

Havent they done that a while and costs £1400 with a clutch....

ECP's price is very good. thats what I got dont see the point of a upgraded clutch/flywheel if you're only running a remap
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

You thinking of the setup JKM were selling??  I thought that was an SMF with that clutch kit?  :undecided:
