MK3 hydraulic clutch setup?

Hi all

I know this question has been asked before but different answers have come up so i just want to find the right answer, im going to be converting my gti 8v to vr6 (please dont start asking why not just buy a vr lol) all ready got most of the bits, my question is about the clutch...i have the complete hydro clutch set up engine side but im not sure what pedal i can use....people have said the gti one will be fine but others say it wont be just need some clarification 

Any advice would be great

Latter 8v pedal box will accept the hydraulic cylinder all ok.

Ahh i see, mines a p reg 96 do you think that would support the hydro set up?
