Tailgate Handle

my tailgate handle (and whole tailgate) is looking a bit worst for wear, the lock doesnt even work, it looks like corrosion on the handle  whats the best way to deal with this? ive been told that its either a different lock or a key is broke in side

just the handle, although i think the tailgate could do with a mop

does the rear wiper leak? thats what it turned out caused mine to do something similar.

worth having a look behind the plastic trim and see if you can stop it getting worse.

dont know what to suggest for the lock sorry

looks like you'll need to have handle repainted though
