hi nick
i am looking at buy an allard delete pipe if this is correct, as i am new to these diesel looking for abit of guidence to which will be the best way around it, i heard it can be delete from the ecu but has to be done via computer if this is correcy nick could you give me a price on both ways of doing also for the mapping and what sort of diffrence in power and gains i will achieve from a visit you guys also the a total price to a certain degree and what sort of time frame could it be done in
cheers gordon
Hello Gordon
In the mapping max request air flow from the maf gets requested which means the egr should always be shut, this leads to better mpg better efficiency and a cleaner inlet manifold tract. By doing the allard hardware pipe it will alow for better air flow due to the anti shudder valve the the egr shaft being removed from the equation.
Little peak power gains are to be had from the EGR removal, it allows more for a smoother power delivery. Its a woth while mod imo. We can offer a spec1 custom remap on our rolling road for £250, this will include the EGR mapping out . A good running 115pd can see gain of around 25-30bhp 40-45lbft of very strong linear power from the R-Tech spec1 custom mapping. As for time scale we will get you booked in for a 3 hour remap session, but at the moment we are fully booked to the eye balls for the next 3 weeks, we have 3 booking slots everyday 9am 12pm and 3pm.
If you order the egr vlave from allard we can fit this free during the pre remap diagnostis session
