My mk4 1.8t started marking a horrible noise and lost power, my friend had a quick look at it but is soooo busy. He checked all the spark plugs and all the coil packs n they r fine it seemed to be the lead that connects to the 3rd coil pack but he tested it back to the little black thing at the back of the air filted think its a egnision moduel or something. he said to trace and check the cable right back to the ecu and hope its that n not the ecu and aldo try changing the little black thing on the back of air filter lol but as u can tell im clueless about engines so if anyone could help me id b very greatful
