Worcester MK3 driver
« on: 16 September 2011, 19:14 »
Hi everyone.
Bought my first standard MK3 back in April and have been slowly modifying bits and pieces ever since. I'm living in Worcester and so anyone in the area may see my driving round with a nice comic strip splitter.
Current modded spec:

MK3 GL 1.8 in majestic blue (purpley blue colour?)
Coilovers (some cheap ass ones from Belgium)
Badgeless grill
Porsche 928's 7J 16's spaced 40mm on the rear, 35mm on the front (although I did have them running at 50mm on the back and it looked sick!) refurbed and then sprayed silver with orangey yellow centre caps.
because sometimes when you look in your rear view mirror, you want something other than a kev'd up Corsa trying to suck your tailpipe....

Haha that'll be why when I ask people about replacement panels, they look at me with some distant confused look......

I've found heaps of info here already - this forum is the shiznits!

What sort of mileage do you get from a tank? I'm looking of switching to a tdi instead of my petrol because my MK3 is my daily and at the moment I'm looking at approx 25,000 miles a year!
