I dunno then. :undecided: mine came oiled, and although I've not done it yet, u can buy the maintenance kits for em that contain a cleaning liquid, and an oil in an aerosol too. :huh:

That is the older ones, they now do dry types to avoid maf issues.

yeh oiled filters are bad for the maf you could always buy a green cotton as they arent oiled either

As far as I'm aware, none that you buy now are oiled :wink:

So if I clean my old style oiled one, will it be ok to leave dry or are the newer ones a slightly different material?

just got myself a pipercross panel filter and it was DRY filter guys :smiley:
