I dunno then. mine came oiled, and although I've not done it yet, u can buy the maintenance kits for em that contain a cleaning liquid, and an oil in an aerosol too.

That is the older ones, they now do dry types to avoid maf issues.

yeh oiled filters are bad for the maf you could always buy a green cotton as they arent oiled either

As far as I'm aware, none that you buy now are oiled

So if I clean my old style oiled one, will it be ok to leave dry or are the newer ones a slightly different material?

just got myself a pipercross panel filter and it was DRY filter guys
