I asked this a while back and I was told the wheels from an A4 wouldn't fit. Apparently the fit for an Audi is 112 and the VW is 110.

The guy on here "Dudfather" was very helpful

Lets clear up a bit of confusion here....

The PCD on the golf 3 VR6 is 5x100, the PCD on the Audi 200 is 5x112.

The offset on both are near enough the same.

It is possible to make/buy an adaptor that converts 5x100 to 5x112 BUT to allow room for the bolts to fit in the adaptor will be 20mm+ thick.  This will obviously push the wheels further out in the wheel arch by 20mm+.  If you want to go for the fatter EURO look then this is good but it may cause the wheels to rub.  The other issue is caliper clearance but the 20mm+ thick adaptors should negate this problem.
