Seems pretty obvious that they could just park an unmarked van and hide in that. In fact they park their riot van opposite and that has blacked out windows, hide in that leap out at the appropriate moment. Job done, and I won't be falling asleep @ 4pm because I've had a crap sleep for last three nights.

I've seen that before, now all I would need would be a remote control....

Cops were out and about last night, they got savaged in the local press due to their inactivity.

Nah, it's the wee b'stard with the matches fault. However the Polis don't help themselves, I speak from various dealings I've had with them over the years. They do project an attitude of couldn't really care less.

They actually said to my mate who got is nose splattered (for no reason) when he was out getting nappies for his kid. "Probably won't catch the guy". Not with that attitude mate, this is despite being provided with a description and bloody fingerprints on the plastic bag he picked up to see if they was anything worth nicking. That and their parking on double yellow lines when they're on personal business...blah blah, I could go on.

I understand they have a difficult job and I don't envy it, however if you take the money you do the job, properly.

You can see where the car was, company came and removed it before I could get a photo.

And the other one.

Couple of other cars have been damaged but not as severely.

As of 3am last night another car caught fire.

Saw the guy this time as I heard the window getting smashed. Called the police who still were slower to attend than the fire brigade

However they have got someone on custody, hurrah  Fingers crossed they have enough to stop this knobber from doing it again. Failing that I now know where he lives

Take it you told the police you knew who it was?

Just out of curiosity, what cars have been torched?

Didn't know who it is specifically, just CID gave me a very good indication of where he stayed, without getting themselves in trouble, if you know what I mean

There was a Mazda something or other, a Honda Accord and Vauxhall Corsa + Astra, Skoda Octavia plus various other scorched cars.

Thinking about organising a Neighbourhood Watch.
