« on: 11 September 2011, 20:29 »
Want to clean all my seats and carpet in my A3.. Any advice on how people do it ? Do i need a wet hoover or can it be done easily without it ?? I have G101 but no fabric specialist cleaner...

Let me know

A wet vac would give it a deep clean, but the G101 diluted should be fine.

Autosmart Brisk id good for interiors through a George wet and dry machine, use diluted G101 as a prespray solution for heavily soiled/stained areas.

im looking at getting a Charles for Xmas are they any good ?? can pick them up for about £100 and i will only shampoo them 1-2 a year but need a new hoover aswell..

how shall i apply the G101 ? and what ratio shall i dilute to ?

charles is fine mate but it wont put the shampoo down for you so you'll have to apply the solution manually, George has the pump and attatchments so worth the money imo but charles is great for extraction anyway ;)

to apply G101 either use a 500ml or 1ltr spray bottle, you only need about 25ml/50ml of G101 and top up with warm water, dont make the solution too strong or it will be very soapy and will foam up big time in the machine.

hope this helps

i'd use Autosmart brisk.. I use a G101/bio brisk/brisk low foam combo, apply liberally with a trigger spray, work with a nail brush and then extract carefully using George/Charles
