Discovered this in the morning.
The stitching is coming off the drivers seat and the Jacara material has developed a tear. There also seems to be a hole in the padding underneath. Won't last long. Have already e-mailed the Warranty Manager.
I am of slim build and I am positive my petit posterior has not been responsible for this.

Neither am I.
Because the Jacara cloth is quite an open weave the stitching can come unstuck. They should have done a double or different type seam along the length. You will also notice the bolster material has a closer weave.
Hope they will replace it under warranty. What an absolute PITA.

Good luck.
You have a better case than me and a far superior warrenty person and dealer, they said mine was ware and tear.
I find it funny when i have a mk1 GTI i have had for over 20 years, done 60000 miles in (90K total) and the bolster has near zero 'wear and tear' (same amount as the day i bought it) (a car known for bolster wear!)
I had a Leon Cupra R with optional recaro large bolster seats whos bolster had little to no ware after 40K and there much larger than the mk6 seats bolsters.
I had an Ibiza with optional recaros with little to no bolster wear after 40K
And im 3 stone smaller now than i use to be but it must be my fault my seats have so much wear after 3K.
But then again they would only screw it up changing the cover known my luck so maybe i would be better just buying it myself and save the time/hassle and damage they would cause!
Rant over.  :embarassed:

In my e-mail to her, (The Warranty Manager who is devine looking amd lives 10 doors away from me), I stressed that my petit posterior was faultless. I was about to suggest it could only have been her rump that ripped the stitching!
Seriously, I am an 11 stone 6' 1.25" person with a very small seat. There is no way I could have stretched and ripped the fabric.

How do you get in and out the car is the question?
Some people sit and twist.
Some lift themselfs over.
Some slide in
etc
etc.

Its NOT your fault period.
Im sure they will replace it.

Good lord, let me see. I sit and twist. But I do so elegantly.
