Mk 3 towbar wiring

hi,

I'm attempting to fit a towbar to my mk3 GTi 8v, does anyone know if a separate relay is required? or can i just splice into the loom at the rear light cluster? (easiest i reckon),

I know towbars are gay but it's a means to an end - you've gotta get your jetski to water somehow!!

You would be better to run through a relay.

Done, its easy, Ive put 7 pin in only, chopped into loom at n.s.r. light cluster, used twice now, no probs so far and a nice neat job
