Golf vs MR2

Have had both ( hence the email add)
anybody else had a mk2 gti and a mk1 MR2? ( have have both a normal and the supercharged import)
wot about the Honda CRX ( wife had one) ?
would put my golf 2nd to my MR2 supercharger purely because of grunt. The crx is very similar to drive. It takes a while to get going but hits u in the back of the head at 4500 
How do your ex cars compare?

Had an MR2 SC at the same time as a Mk2 8v.  TBH although the MR2 was much quicker, I found the golf much more fun to hoon around in.

Get what u mean about Golfs being chuckable.
Quick doesn't always mean exciting does it.
Quickest car I've had was a 200sx S14 - but just wasn't any fun - unlike my new 16V

av had a few quick motors in my time even tho am only 21 the best one was a leon cupra r, dont get me rong after the revo programe got put on it it was bloody quick but on the day ov insurance renewal they wanted 4000 fully comp so a sold it n bought the bora..............anyway wat am saying is i agree speed isnt as exiting as having to actually try wen your racing

Definately much more chuckable.  Sounds a bit daft but I was more comfortable with the balance of the golf compared to the MR2.

i had a CRX and to be honest they lack in quality.
my mate has a CRX V-tec and its a very fast sh!t box indeed but again lacks in quality to the golf. ohh and the back end tooo light on the CR's

way faster than my golf dont get me wrong but they rust like a b!tch and the crx forum members are a load of tw4ts
