What to choose for a daily driver? 8v vs 16v?
« on: 20 April 2005, 20:09 »
Hi there,

I was just wondering what the differences are in things such as performance, driveability and also fuel economy? I still am unsure on what to go for as my new daily driver! Any views are greatly apprieciated. Also if any one knows of any golfs for sale it would be a great help!

Thanks

Dipesh

i recon they should be merged to a  24v then we can all be happy, however that works

people will only really argue for whatever car they have

depends what your daily driving is. if its just in & around towns then 8v is grand. but if it involves long stretches of country roads then the extra 8v's are wanted

personally id just buy a 16v and have best of both worlds. 16v's rock
