Hi all, well the engine is built but does anyone know what to set the timing at, the engine is a 2 litre bottom end with the 1.8 8v head. It has had alot done i.e cam, vernier pulley, gas flowed the usual basically but I am not sure what to set the timing to. It really is only to run it up to the mot and tuning station so I can get it set up on the rollers. According to autodata 2.0 should be 6 degrees BTDC at 2500rpm and the 1.8 6 degrees BTDC at 950rpm.
