Search for a Rallye

Hi all,

I am looking for a nice condition grey Rallye se. I am going to look at a 120k Italian car with air con in Rossendale Lancs. Its still Italian registered and at £3.995 im not expecting it to be great - anybody know anything about it id be grateful for any info. Probably will need engine rebuild/supercharger and the rest.

Frustratingly there was a 28k Grey Rallye Sold last year 10 miles from where I live. It was sold to a David Abbson from the Sheffield area if anyone knows him or someone who wants to sell a metallic grey rallye please let them know im looking. Ive been checking the usual sites Autotrader, The Golf etc to no avail. If anyone knows any other good sites please let me know.

Any advice in general about Rallyes would be appreciated it 10 years since I had my last one.

I'd say you are already looking in the places that I would have suggested.  If you need any advice on the rallye then the only people on here that I know that have them are jv and topher. You might want to e-mail them as you dont have enough postst to use PM yet (you need 10). I think the e-mail addresses are jv@golfgti.co.uk & topher@golfgti.co.uk.  Other than e-mailing them I'm sure they'll be around at some point and see this post. Hav eyou tried www.supergolfs.co.uk they sometimes have them in but I haven't seen one of there for a while, or try the classifieds of awesome-gti.co.uk.
