Looking to buy a Mk5
« on: 06 September 2011, 15:43 »
Hi guys and ladies,

I am currently looking to buy a Golf MK5. I am 21 year old and believe that it is really expensive to get a GTi version but is wondering if i should get a 1.4 or 1.6 and put a GTi bodykit on it. It is possible? and how much do you think it will cost me?

Thanks

You would probably end up paying nearly as much to insure an actual GTI than one made to look like one.  Go for the GTI the prices are really dropping on mk5's.  Just make sure you check for rust on whichever one you do buy. :lipsrsealed:
