This may have been covered before but my N -reg Mk3 GTI 8v has got an immobiliser - the fob type- switch just below the heater controls, is there a way of removing this or replacing it with a hidden switch? there's nothing currently wrong with it but the connection is a bit dodgy and can be a pain in the 'arris to get it to register and go green - or do i just have to live with it and stop whining?
