Polyurethane Welding rod?
« on: 05 September 2011, 14:40 »
Hi

I'm in the process of mending a Genuine anni valence which is made of Polyurethane. So as i have found out... It doesn't plastic weld with a soldering iron. After a little look on the net it seems i need polyurethane welding rod which is kind of braising process rather than melting. But it is still a strong bond.

I'm trying to find the welding rods but all i seems to find is 50tf rolls which are about 50quid. Does anyone have any ideas about where else i can get some?

Cheers
James

I've been checking out ebay but nothing seemed to come up. I used some different stuff and seems to have done the job.
