mk3 smoothed manifold

Hi guys and girls
Trying to find out about smoothing a OB1 manifold like this........

I prefere the standard but uber clean look personally mate..

But yeah those look custom made - do it yourself type thing or pay a engineering shop to carry out the work if u get my drift

Fail to see the point that, having to remove the inlet manfold to replace a lead or spark plug seems a lot of hassle.

Well if you drove with your bonnet up or perhaps even no bonnet then it may well be worth doing!

Find a plating shop/foundry/Metal workers with a big belt linisher.
Will take a short while to remove the excess with linisher (should only cost you a drink) then its time to polish it up with wet n dry (work through grades), then you finish it off with fine polish.
Easy peasy, now get stuck in :smiley:
