advice on a touareg
« on: 04 September 2011, 17:11 »
right my old man thinks he needs another car to add to the 3 he`s already got, and wants a diesel touareg preferably the 5.0 v10

is there any known problems/faults on them that he should look out for?

it`ll only do a few thousand miles a year.

just trying to get some info on them so all ideas would be gratefull

no advice but if you put 4tonnes of sand bags in the boot, inflate the tyres to max you
will be able to pull a boeing 747...
no joke either

We have just bought a 59 plate se v10 touareg on our website Cheltenham Volkswagen. I took it out today with a customer what a machine! Think golf r32 pace in a tank.

kessy modules on the earlier ones can be temperamental and expensive to fix. They have 2 turbos which are around £1600 each if they go boom

From the buying guides I have read the V10 TDI is the one to avoid.
