Does anyone have any tips for removing a dizzy from a 2.0 8 valve engine?
I've soaked mine in WD40 rugged and tugged it but it won't budge, looks to be the original one so been in there for 14 yrs!

Tap around the base with a hammer or try tapping a flat head screwdriver inbetween the base of the dizzy and the block. They seal internally so dont worry about scratching/marking the surfce

Put front of car on ramps then use a long screwdriver or a bar to tap up from underneath - works for me!

The gearing on them is angled as well, so twist anti-clockwise (I think) whilst pulling it up.
