The dull all black leather on the UK models is what has put me off buying.

Of course the price is also an issue.

I'm saving for a new shape S3 or fully loaded mk7 GTi.

Yes if you know the right dealers/people, ive been offered one for around that price, the thing stopping me is ive had a ed30 and their is no progress in performance in 5 years (only 5ps and that s debatable)
