Well after driving it this evening I have come to the conclusion that it is the most uncomfortable car I've ever had the misfortune of driving! It's gutless & noisy, visibility is shocking, the wheels feel like they aren't connected to the steering wheel....the list goes on!

After hearing that the golf is likely to be in the body shop for 2-3 weeks I immediately rang the insurers and demanded a replacement car more similar to mine...not really too sure how they can replace a 200bhp Golf Gti with a 1.5D Qashqai

They're ringing me back in the morning to discuss it

Whats the hire car company? Enterprise gave me a very snazy twin turbo Saab to replace my 200bhp GTI.

It's through Direct Accident Ltd.

When I turned up at the garage Jonny just laughed

He said that they gave him a crappy car, when he complained he ended up with a merc

Get these in at work all the time.

Have one ATM that won't recognise the key. Does yours have the keyless thing where you just have it in your pocket, push the brake and twist the plastic fake key?

Well this won't recognise the key half the time and the blade for some reason is wrong for the car and won't override it. On a 14K miles car.

Where all my moneys went.

Golf MK3 1.6. Golf MK3 8v GTI.

Nope, its got a normal key. It's quite well specced; climate control, Bluetooth, cruise control etc.

Hopefully getting a replacement delivered over the weekend
