True, but they are horrible and tacky looking compared to the Passat (imo).

Would much rather pay the higer fuel bill than drive one of them (Im so far up my own arse its untrue).

Fully agree, but a remapped 1.8T + 4x4 =  :evil: for not much money :cool:

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

I agree they really are silly money, the other thing i was looking at was a skoda with the v6, but these are rare.

Firstly i don't want an auto, and secondly the point of selling the audi is i don't want something that is just as thirsty  :grin:

I wanted a v6 syncro ssat before buying the current 1.8t.... The v6 was a fair bit slower but it went round corners much better (rather than screeching the front tryes and going straight on!!)

If someone wanted to swap a v6 for my turbo then i wouldn't say no  :wink:

Is that a v6 versus a mapped 1.8T?
