whoever said the charges thing is talking sh!t..

your best bet is to go into the bank sit down and talk it through with them.. One thing to note is that if you have an "excellent" credit rating, some credit cards will not issue you a card as they won't make anything from you...

Have you been on money saving expert and looked into credit cards, the best one for you etc.. I have a Marks and Spencers credit card atm with a 7k limit and 18 months interest free, its worth its weight in gold.
