Power Outputs

i was just wondering is there much difference in the possible power outputs between a mk2 1.8 16v and a mk3 2.0 16v after a few mods to the engine.

from numbers ive seen people post it seems fairly proportional to the capacity difference. however, the major advantage of the mk3 (ABF code) engine is its vastly more sophisticated fuel delivery/management system- if you can transplant it with the engine.
