Some pics after a quick jet wash

I'm honestly so chuffed its untrue!!!! Few pics...
Mot time... Dum dum dummmmmmmmmm!!!

Then I did my tracking home brew string styleeee!!! Took me 2 hours to set up perfect, over all the front wheels were only about 2.5mm out to zero toe... So I was propped chuffed, took the car out, and I can get to 3rd without the car so much as diverting from straight... Result!

The measurements...

Then I plasti dipped all the lower plastics to bring them back to life, love this stuff, I was literly in the process of ordering all new lower plastics but the plastidip has made them look like new!!!

And then it's first trip out... Went to work, 12 miles, has some motorway, some back roads, some speed bumps, so a great shake down, got to work with no problems except a few little knocks from the front end, was the wishbone bolts as everything is wearing in now, drive home was silent!!! So yaaaaaayyy!
Few pics In the workshop

On the advice of a few of you good fellows I have a new inlet and filter sorted, gone for a BMC enclosed filter, I'm still gonna route the filter round the back of the engine and mount the filter to the side of the coilpack, I also have a 500mm long stainless steel rolled heat sheild to fit around the inlet that passes over the exhaust so should keep it fairly cool. Pics soon!!!

Right I've really gone to town on this, I recon I've got a total of £85 in this set up, and it's literly the best money I have spent!!!
I purchased a 3" 135 degree elbow and a 3" 90 degree elbow, I bought a replica enclosed carbon filter with 3" inlet, it's almost the exact same design and function and the BMC, but a fraction of the price, I used a 3" diameter straigh pipe, and the filter came with its own flexible inlet pipe that I've conncected to my passenger side lower fk vent so it's getting a constant cold air feed, I also purchased a 19mm inner diameter pipe to reconnect the cam case breather pipe, I had to cut a hole in the 135 degree elbow and bond it in.
All fitted up and it's amazing, on the way home tonight I literly gained 16 mpg, up from 18 mpg to 34 mog!!! the car feels better, the exhaust fumes are less, and the mpg is miles higher, plus the bay looks awesome!!!!
What you think gents??
