Hi, I have a mk 4 2.0 Gti. Thought i would sign up. Thought it would be good to check out any how too guides. Its been an interesting 18 months of ownership so far!, Water pump broke up, front bushes replaced, front window collapsed in the door, rear washer came pipe came apart but not before soaking tailgate lock ,rear wheel bearing went, reverse light switch corroded and now the oil sensor on the sump has gone, and it uses more oil than it should. I expect a lot of these faults are normal for a 100,000 mile car but it has kept me busy.
