Yeah i'm not going to bother with the arch liners either. I'll have to take my wings off just to clean the bugger lol.

Haha, I know what you mean lol! I'm looking forward to getting the new wings on and finished though, the old wings really let the car down at the moment. Plus I'll be able to go a bit lower on the front as well ad space the wheels out a bit more :)

Today is a good day so far! I managed to get my new wings all stone chip protected and all coloured up on the inside and the edges!

Gravitex applied.

And painted :)

I also ordered a new VR6 Splitter, to replace my fooked one!

Getting there. When is it getting the engine it deserves?

Once I have finished all the bodywork and refurbished and upgraded all the suspension components! Realistically I'll start collecting parts next year, I still haven't decided weather what engine I'll be going with, but I have got loads of time to work that out :)

And with a little bit of persuasion, I got the new wings fitted and lined up :)

And I swapped the interior door pulls for chrome counter parts!

Before.

After!

So after a crappy morning, the weather brightened up and I got cracking with my driveway spray job and cracked out the spray guns! It was ideal, because I have been wanting to see how my compressor coped with the larger guns, and what better then to use my own car as a lab rat!

I am pretty happy with the results too :) Although it will need a bit more flat and polishing that usual, it should come up good!

Lookin good mate....what you like for dust with doing it outside? Been painting my Mk3 past couple of days and the warm weather has not been kind in regards to dust. Even in the garage with dust sheeting up I still got bits of crap in the finish. Basically left myself with loads more work flattening and polishing!
