The front splitter needs a proper good clean now though! :evil:

Yeah I know man! I haven't finished repairing it yet, it had a split running right up one corner lol! I had to plastic weld it all up and then bond and mesh it all up. It still needs sanding down, filling, shaping, priming, re texturing and painting!

Looks better than when you got it :cool:

Do like the vento front end.

Reckon if you swap out the wheels for something different. Azev A deep dish or something chunky and 5 spoked. Cheaper than replacing the car.

I am tempted to to be honest! Although, if this Mk1 is still available then it will have to go. I just can't turn down my favourite car combined with my favourite engine! It needs a bit of work, but as you can see, I'm not afraid of that. I have already got a colour picked out and everything ;)

Got a few little interior goodies winging their way over to me :) I have some chrome door pulls, chrome heater control rings and a MK4 golf gear knob and leather gaiter with chrome detailing! Pics to follow when it all arrives :)
