It passed  :lipsrsealed:

3 advisories, undertray, rear brakes worn and slight brake inbalance

And the smoke test was well under the limits

Will have to keep an eye on the smoke for a while   :undecided:

Good news!

I can't wait to put the Golf in for an MOT. I'm expecting the failure and advisory list to be printed on a whole roll of toilet paper.

Got a date for that?
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Not really no. It goes in for paint in the first week of November. After that it depends how long it takes me to put it all back together after discovering I've lost bits  (Which reminds me I need to pick up the windscreen and get some fuel lines)

Before Christmas is the plan so I can get in any parts required and use the time off work to get it through a retest (Depending on how badly it fails). Sprint, Solo and Hillclimb season kicks off mid March so that is the ultimate deadline for it being back on the road and ready to compete. It would also mark 12 months since I took it to bits.
