Anything Spirit based, Meths, white spirit, etc. Apply to the panel via a rag, every minute for about 10 minutes, this will break down the adhesive properly, and save rubbing the skin off your fingers! lightly Tcut or similar the area after removal, to bring the paint back to life that surrounded the badge, also cover up the bumper, spirit may stain the plastic!
Use the spirit in a well ventilated area, and use gloves and goggles etc :nerd:

Looks like the culprit was left handed! if that's a scratch on the panel!

Meths is the best option.

Here's a tip from the trade, get a tire valve and put it in a drill so you can use the bulbous end to lift off the badge tape  it will come off nice an quick and won't leave any scratches in the paint from over rubbing the area and it won't soften the paint like white spirits or thinners can!
