Really?

I have you know that I spent 7 months of unhappy Vectra sri diesel ownership (company car) in 2006.  The way to light steering and front end, combined with the touch sensitive indicators drove me mad.  I complained and junked the piece of sh!t in for a Golf GT TDI.

Build quality is an oxymoron.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

but did u test drive one before getting it.  thus highlighting the cars characteristics, not actual problems

i have had a ashtray for 3 years, same indicators, no issues

its a motorway and commuting tool, not a sports car, steering is fine on the ones i have driven but then I didnt  expect it to handle like a sports car.

so was it the car, or you and your expectations of it

for the price,

the fact i can get it fixed by the lads at work cheap or free, using all the tools / test equipment,

and it is the same price as a 10 year old VAG with double the miles ( summat they dont know inside out at work )

for my requirements right now its ideal.

theres one on Ebay in south wales
