Got another cab at the weekend. - see various pictures of the car - http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=462

Spec is:

VW Golf Convertible – 1992
1.8 GTI engine
59,000 miles
Electric Hood - works perfectly
Hood cover – Black - perfect
Karman interior – Black with white checks
14” Standard Alloys wheels with locking wheel nuts
Immobiliser
Central Locking

Small rear end hit - which is going to be fixed in May 05 - getting quotes at the moment - other than that it's perfect.

More pictures later in the week.

Spec: 92 - K reg, 1.8 GTI cab, - Mint all over - except rear - which has had a little knock - nothing that a new bumper and a little love won't fix. Engine has only 59K on it - had problems with the fueliing over the weekend - changed fuel pump - works fine now - clutch is gone - replacing this weekend coming up - other than that it's perfect - electric hood, central locking, fully computerized  - electric windows being installed next weekend.

More details to come later in month - this is the running cab - will be up and on road by June - then back to the other old skool cab for completion.

thanks all - shall be working on it - tomorrow so I'll take full pictures all round - so you can see the damage on the back.... (very little really) It was a bargain.

I've upload a few more pictures of the new cab - with rear damage as well.

Just brought a second hand rear (white) bumper for £65.00 - will arrive on Thursday - will work on bumper at weekend for painting up black.

Looking for quotes on repair today - I can't wait now to get it fixed and drive it....!!!  :smiley: :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:
