On the subject of exhausts, single exit looks sweet on older VWs, not sure what they will look like on a mk3 though, the cutout is made for a twin exit..

I've got the scorpion oval and it looks fine, fits the cut out nicely and has a good rumble to it without being silly loud.

well i went for 3" single exit outward roled,  one box system with hiflow cat

bang in the center of the recess, will get some pics up later :huh:

I can't adjust mine any higher than it is because it bangs on the floor, i'd like to replace the middle box and adjust it all to fit properly but the mid box is fairly new so i'll wait till it's knackered.

yeah i've had a look under mine this morning, there is room for it to go up about an inch higher, just need to modify the hanger a bit and get a shorter rubber.

This is mine , its not central to the recess but im not that fussed really ,its a homebrew box looks more like a sports bike can,does sound good though not loud :smiley:

so here's mine all fitted,  wasnt sure at first but happy with it now and think it suits

sounds very nice though  stainless 2.5 " all the way from turbo to backbox
