Way too early for us then!

See yas at JKM approx 9am then!

....You need to be there by 9:00am LATEST, not "approx". Sorry but if you are planning to go on the dyno, that's how it always is and it's for JKM and everyone's benefit.

Robin my dear chap I believe I have been on these JKM days at least twice more than you so I do know the score!
And actual times things really do start to happen!

....The point is, Len, that you are sending entirely the wrong message to others on this thread by implying that the 9:00am is flexible. Barring unforeseen circumstances of course, everyone who is going on the rollers needs to be there by 9:00am latest.

As for whether you have been on JKM dyno days more often than I have I very much doubt it, but that really has got absolutely nothing to do with the fact that folks need to turn up at 9:00am sharp if they want to go on the rollers.

I agree with Robin. JKM have to give a speech about health and safety around the rollers, people need to fill in the dyno sheet, pay etc. If people start turning up at 9am then it won't get underway until at least 9:30am. Everyone must be there for 9am, so cars can start going on the dyno at 9:10am.

By 3pm we'll all be on our way most likely, there may be 1 or two hangign around, but JKM would have finished by then.

I know exactly what JKM say and I still know its flexible.
In my 4 previous visits nothing has ever started until 9.15/9.20

Now I know it is prefferable to have everyone there so they can do their little pep talk, but hey if traffic or a small breakdown happens then being a little late is not the end of the world.

Personally I think its a bit OTT and Health & Safety gone mad like so many other things these days, but hey I also like hanging around and talking to folk.
