i need advise
« on: 24 August 2011, 18:24 »
 okay im rather pissed at the fact i bought a set of OZ turbo split rims costing me £800 for my mk1 golf... the guy i bought them off stated they were in realy good condision and guess what one off them is BUCKELD pretty dam bad... im yet to check the other 3 wheels. When you look at the wheels they look fine so obv when i went to buy them as the guy had stated ' realy good condision' i didnt think twice about seeing if they were buckeld as for spending £800 they should be pretty dam good

they have sat in my garage a few months obv thinkin they were fine then yesterday i jacked the car up with the wheels on and hay presto i spun the wheel and it looked more pissed than i do on a weekend

sooooooooooooooo i either buy another wheel IF i can find one or sell the wheels cheap statin a buckeld wheel

A specialist should be able to straighten it.

Not all wheel damaged can be repaired. Some buckles are too far gone. If yours looks pretty bad, it probably is too far gone to repair.
80% of your posts are total tripe, as they are mostly replies to sh1te posts created by the morons that, unfortunately this forum attracts.

If the damage is of that, you've only just noticed it, then repair is probably quite possible! Alloys are made from a very malleable grade of aluminium that is designed to deform, and not crack, but only up to a point... A proper wheel repair specialist will be able to put it on there machine, and roll it, pull it, to its correct radius again
