how to HOTWIRE?!?!? (legit reason)
« on: 24 August 2011, 17:51 »
how can i 'hotwire' my ignition to start my car?

is it just a case of 'jumping' the wires 30(red)+ 50(red/black), think i've got that right??

just looking for a temporary fix because ignition switch is playing up.

i can jump the starter but looking for a way of doing in the car as it's less embarassing!! lol

Not being funny dude, but as this is a public forum, its unlikely you will get many responses.

The ignition switch isn't hard to replace, if Shady Pioneer managed it, can't be that difficult

Hi, mate. I love the irony of it....

A forum about Golf GTi's (at least that what it says at the top of the page) run by guys who hate the bloody things (hi Rhyso....)

Maybe Rhyso or JV can give us some hotwiring advice (don't forget to use the "sarcastic cVnt" phrase, JV), as long as they don't include Audis.......... :smug: :smug:

I looked and didn't spot any irony.

Quite a lot of people 'run' this forum, who do own VW's.

What's that phrase I need to use majormajor? I think you may have muddled up your angst, seeing as I have never heard of you before this thread.
